This was my first major remodel, and really my first serious test as a homeowner. In this project, we successfully -- and within budget -- converted a split level basement from a badly dated rec room, laundry and 2 car garage to a 1 bedroom ADU in one third, and an office, family room, and playroom in the other two thirds. It involved a full basement demo (including 2 floor chimney), reframing, re-wiring and new trenching/plumbing for 2 new bathrooms and a kitchen. I'm a Senior Project Manager in high tech, and I was humbled by the long list of requirements and dependencies involved in this project.

I couldn't have made a better choice in contractor services than Danny and Hata of Coda Construction. From project start to finish, they defined their business with transparency, professionalism, and flexibility. The project was completed on time and on budget, and they will be my first choice for our first floor kitchen and bathroom models.
